These colleges/universities are mostly in US, Canada, Australia, China, India, UK, and several other European and Asian countries. GRE cut-off requirements vary from college to college, as there is no pre-determined standard set by the conducting body. Overall, the cut-off scores for any college or course are dependent on parameters like its reputation, number of test-takers, number of admission seats, difficulty level of the exam, etc. Besides, there are no total cut-off scores in the case of GRE.

So, generally, the GRE-accepting colleges/universitiesspecify sectional cut-off scores for admission. Majority of the B-schools/law schools shortlist candidates with an average score of 155-165 in Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning each. In the analytical writing (AWA) section, you are expected to achieve a score of 4-5. However, only some colleges consider the scores of AWA part.
