Statement I: Since the sides of the triangle are in GP, so the third side will be 8 cm. But no triangle is possible with sides 2cm, 4 cm and 8 cm. Hence statement I is insufficient.
Statement II: Here by using the cosine formula we can find the length of the third side. So statement II is sufficient.
