| PhD |
|
| If someone wants to become a research scholar, wants an academic position in good universities or wants to pursue a career in research one can opt for a PhD Program abroad.
But one must bear in mind that the PhD programme abroad is far tougher than similar programmes in India. The research scholars must indulge in genuine research as even the slightest hint of plagiarism is dealt with severely in most institutions abroad.
Also, there is more scope for a student of sciences to indulge in research and enroll in PhD programmes as compared to students of management in whose case the scope is very limited.
In addition to these, students may also be required to take tests of proficiency in the English language.
The main tests are:
TOEFL- accepted by around 6000 institutions in 110 countries including almost every university in the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada
